Upcoming Event

Ten years ago, I was threading my way through the treacherous Khumbu Icefall on Mt. Everest. On May 16, 2002 after nearly two months of effort, I reached the 29,035 foot summit--the highest point on earth.

One decade later, I hope you will join me to hear stories (you may even chuckle a bit), see some slides, and ask questions about my three expeditions to Mt. Everest including my summit in 2002. This is not a campaign event. Instead, voluntary contributions will benefit Portland Mountain Rescue, an organization that saves lives through rescue and education of Oregon and Washington's mountaineering community that I volunteered with for eight years. Hope to see you there!
